Archiving clients
When you finish working with a client, archiving tidies them out of your active caseload without losing any of their records. It’s reversible at any time.
What does archiving a client do?
Archiving is a reversible soft-delete — the client is set aside, not erased. Once archived, they’re:
- Removed from your active client list and normal search results.
- Dropped from the home-page Balances reminders.
- Removed from needs-attention items tied to that client.
All of their data — sessions, notes, treatment plans, history — is retained and stays accessible under Settings → Clients.
How do I archive a client?
Open the client’s actions menu and choose Archive Client (also available from the row menu in Settings → Clients). You’ll get a quick confirmation: “They’ll be removed from your active client list. Their records will remain accessible in Settings/Clients.” Right after archiving, an Undo toast appears if you change your mind.
How do I restore an archived client?
Archived clients stay viewable — they show an Archived badge in search and in Settings → Clients. Open the client and choose Restore Client to bring them back to your active list. Restoring is instant and loses nothing.
